10:15-11:00AM | STORY PROBLEM
YOU are AWESOME! Grab a sheet of paper and solve the Story Problem of the day. Have your parent/guardian video (explaining how you solved the problem) or take pictures of you while doing it. Once you are finished, have a grownup post it Facebook using the hashtag #MEMPHISMERIT. You can use any materials from around the house to help you solve the problem. You can also call the virtual teacher for support!

Monday (Kinder): 12 children are having a picnic at the park. The children are sitting on 3 blankets with the same number of children on each blanket. How many children are on each blanket?
Tuesday (Kinder): I have 16 pieces of candy. I want to put the candy into 4 bags with the same number in each bag. How many candies can I put in each bag?
Wednesday: (Kinder): There are 12 girls and 7 boys in on the carpet. How many more girls are on the carpet than boys?
Thursday: (Kinder): Damaurius has 14 tiles. Josiah has 8 tiles. How many more tiles does Damaurius have than Josiah?
Friday: (Kinder): Mrs. Pitzer has 13 markers. Mr. Carter has 9 markers. How many more markers does Mrs. Pitzer have than Mr. Carter?
Monday (1st Grade): DeTerrio had 65 star stinckers. His sister gave him 17 more star stickers. How many star stickers does DeTerrio have altogether?
